Problem Note 43769: The SAS® System increases a DB2 timestamp by 24 hours when the timestamp reaches a value of 23:59:59.999999
When a DB2 timestamp reaches 23:59:59.999999, the timestamp value is increased by 24 hours. This problem occurs when you use implicit pass-through processing in SAS/ACCESS® Interface to DB2 with the following timestamp format:
1988-11-03 23:59:59.999999
For the example shown above, the timestamp then becomes 04NOV1988:23:59:59.999999.
As a workaround, copy DB2 data from one table to another using explicit pass-through processing.
